Denmark break records in Egypt 2021
Denmark continued breaking their own records after winning the World Championship title for the second time consequently as hey became the fourth team to reach such achievement.
For the second time on the trot, Denmark won the IHF World Men's Handball Championship, and their second ever with a score of 26:24.
Denmark joined Sweden, Romania and France in the team’s list that claimed the World Championship title two times respectively.
Sweden claimed the title two times in 1954 and 1958 respectively, while Romania achieved it two times in 1961 and 1964 before repeating it again in 1970 and 1974.
France also claimed such achievement two times in 2009 and 2011 editions and in 2015 and 2017.
Denmark are bidding to claim a great achievement by winning the coming edition of the World Championship to be the first team who achieved it.
The Danish Dynamite collected 6 medals in the World Championship in their belt as they won one silver medal alongside 3 bronze medals.
Denmark now equal Germany, Russia and Spain in claiming two World Championship titles, while France are in the lead with 6 titles with two trophies over Sweden and Romania.
