Morocco defeats Angola for the 29th place

A 30:29 win over Angola by penalty throws, earned Morocco the 29th place at the 27th Men's Handball World Championship Egypt 2021.

The two teams have played to a 27:27 draw before the Atlas Lions won the play-off on penalties.

Angola took the lead 14:13 in the first period before the Moroccans levelled the score 27:27 in the second period which took the game to penalty throws.

Morocco's Rezzouki Reida was named the Player of the Match after scoring 12 goals in the game.

Accordingly, Morocco accomplished the 29th position whereas Angola claimed the 30th.

Chile clinched the 27th place while DR Congo came in the 28th. The Republic of Korea was placed 31 while Cape Verde settled at the bottom of the standings after their withdrawal from the 27th edition of the World Championship.
