Hungary's Mikler: We have a chance against France, this is a different tournament
Hungarian captain Roland Mikler was bullish about his team's chances against France, whom they face in the quarterfinal stage of Egypt 2021.
The former one-time runners up could reach the podium once again in Egypt 2021, after doing so in Switzerland 1986.
"Playing against tournament favourites France will be difficult, but we will aim to win and I think we have a chance," said Mikler.
"It will be a difficult 60 minutes and we have to be fully focused. We've done well up to now, we can compete.
"This tournament compared to European competitions is a lot harder, everyone from outside the continent has improved. Our team has changed a lot and we have a few younger players but they are good.
"I think Egypt succeeded in organising this tournament the way they have in a difficult time."
